This disclaimer explains the limits of the information on RefillMath. Please read it before you rely on a price, a program term or a calculator result from the site.
In short: RefillMath shows what GLP-1 medicines such as Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic and Mounjaro cost depending on how you pay. It does not tell you which medicine to take, how to take it or whether you qualify for a program.

Table of Contents
Our disclaimer at a glance: 5 limits
- Not medical advice. We cover prices, not treatment.
- Not financial, insurance or legal advice. Your plan and your situation decide your cost.
- Prices change. Each figure is correct on the date shown next to it.
- Calculators give estimates. They are not quotes from a pharmacy or a plan.
- We are independent. We are not linked to any drug maker, pharmacy, insurer or government agency.
Medical disclaimer
Nothing on RefillMath is medical advice. We do not write about doses, side effects, weight loss or which medicine works better. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any decision on treatment, including whether to start, stop or switch a medicine. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911.
Financial, insurance and legal disclaimer
Our pages explain how each way of paying works in general. They do not consider your income, your insurance plan, your state or your tax situation. Before you decide, check the details with your insurer, the manufacturer, Medicare.gov or a qualified professional.
Prices and program terms change
Manufacturers and Medicare can change prices, savings card limits and eligibility rules at any time. Next to each price we show the date we last checked it and a link to the official source. We review every price on the 10th of each month, as explained on our How We Verify page. That is why this disclaimer asks you to open the linked source before you act.
Calculator results are estimates
Our calculators combine published figures with the numbers you enter. The result can differ from what you pay because of your deductible, copay or coinsurance, your pharmacy, program limits and the terms in force on the day you fill your prescription.
Independence and trademarks
RefillMath is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company, Novo Nordisk, any pharmacy, insurer or telehealth company, or any government agency, including Medicare and the FDA. Brand names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the products discussed. More about who runs the site is on our About Us page.
We do not sell medicines
RefillMath does not sell medicines, take orders or link to pharmacies for a commission. If you buy a prescription medicine online, the FDA’s BeSafeRx campaign explains how to recognize a safe, state-licensed online pharmacy.
Ads and links to other websites
Ads on the site are served by Google and are not endorsements by RefillMath. Links to other websites are there so you can check our sources; we are not responsible for what those sites publish.
Errors and corrections
We work to keep every figure correct. If you find an error, tell us through our contact form. Confirmed errors are fixed, and significant ones are listed on our Corrections page.
Disclaimer: common questions
Can I use RefillMath to decide which GLP-1 medicine to take?
No. We compare costs, not medicines. The choice of medicine is a medical decision to make with your doctor.
Is the price on RefillMath the price I will pay?
Not always. It is the official price on the date shown. What you pay depends on your plan, your pharmacy and the program terms on the day you fill your prescription.
Does a drug maker pay RefillMath?
No. We do not take money from drug makers, pharmacies, insurers or telehealth companies. The site is free to read, and any ads you see are display ads served by Google.
Does this disclaimer apply to every page?
Yes. This disclaimer covers every page, calculator and article on RefillMath. Articles about costs also end with their own short disclaimer.
Who checks the numbers?
The editor of the site, who writes under the pen name Maren Ellis. Every figure is checked against its official source, and the source is linked next to the number.
