RefillMath is an independent website that shows what GLP-1 medicines such as Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic and Mounjaro cost in the United States, depending on how you pay: with insurance, with a manufacturer savings card, by buying directly from the manufacturer, or through Medicare.
The site is about money, not medicine. We do not cover doses, side effects, weight loss or which drug works better. Those are questions for your doctor or pharmacist.

Why RefillMath exists
The price of a GLP-1 medicine is hard to pin down. The list price, the price with a savings card, the price when you buy from the manufacturer and the cost under Medicare are published in different places, with different conditions, and they can change during the year.
We put them side by side, with the date each figure was checked and a link to the official page it comes from, so you can see the numbers and check them yourself.
What you will find on RefillMath
The site is built around tools rather than long articles:
- Price comparisons by payment route for each medicine.
- Calculators that estimate a monthly or yearly cost from the numbers you enter, with the formula shown below the result.
- A dated price history that records each change in a price or in a program’s terms.
- Plain-English guides to savings cards, insurance coverage, Medicare and buying directly from the manufacturer.
The ways to pay we compare
| Way to pay | What it means |
|---|---|
| Insurance | Your plan pays part of the cost if it covers the medicine; you pay your copay or coinsurance. |
| Manufacturer savings card | A program run by the drug maker that can lower what you pay, under conditions the manufacturer publishes. |
| Buying directly | Paying the manufacturer’s own price through its direct-purchase program. |
| Medicare | What Medicare covers and what you pay under it, as published by Medicare and CMS. |

How RefillMath is funded
The site is free to read. Any ads you see on the site are display ads served by Google. Advertisers do not choose, review or pay for what we write, and no ad is placed between a calculator’s fields and its button or over a result.
How we check our numbers
Every price on the site comes from an official source, such as the manufacturer, Medicare.gov or the FDA, is dated next to the number and links to that source. We review all prices on the 10th of each month, and when a manufacturer announces a change, we aim to update the figure the same day.
The full process is on our How We Verify page, and the mistakes we have corrected are listed on our Corrections page.
Not advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not medical, financial, insurance or legal advice. Your actual cost depends on your plan, your pharmacy, whether you qualify for each program and the terms in force on the day you fill your prescription. Check the figures with the manufacturer, your insurer or Medicare before you rely on them.
